not sure how you would use a compression fitting ring terminal to hook up to the alt. There is no space for the bulky fitting neither behind the alt nor on the terminal, hell th 4 awg barely fit there. Also not sure how the compression fitting would have done for corrosion but I also wonder if it w...

I particularly like the feature on mine where you tap a code on the window and in disarms and unlocks the truck. Pretty slick for surfers and whatnot that don't want to take their keys swimming.

Too bad I don't surf.

Well, I got my Compustart installed a few weeks ago now. I'm happy with it I suppose. I think it cost way more than it should have, but whatever, at least now I know I did everything I could to protect my system and truck.

A while back I used a fair share of the older BXT and ensolite, both personally and at a shop I used to run. I'm not sure on pricing now, but at the time I felt strongly that RAAMmat was one of the best values available in sound treatment materials. That's been a few years though, and there's new p...

Ah, yes, I understand what you mean now. It just wanted to "frazzle" or frizz out, for lack of a better term.

I'm guessing he's talking about the older KLMX series cable. I've heard it's not so flexy.

I'm interested in one but I'm going to wait and see what happens. I wouldn't mind getting one of these eventually to mate with my Pioneer 800 prs, or the other option is to get a new P99 deck, also a tuner's dream.

Either way I plan on going 3 way up front, which I heard can be a bitch to tune.

Typically you would run the shortest length of cable to the chassis. Ditto, I think that's the best option to try first. If you just can't get a good ground and your voltage is suffering, then maybe try to run 1/0g from the battery. And I have heard of a few guys that just couldn't get rid of a gro...

Here's all the 1/0g stuff I've dealt with since I got back into car audio a year ago. Old PG Zero Point stuff - Great stuff, top of the line back in the day. Made before wires started going Yoga style and getting flexy. The stuff from the AKIT1 mentioned earlier - To be honest, I can't tell a damn b...

It would be nice to see some pg install bits, but I currently run Stinger expert series in my car and stinger helix/expert in my wife's car. I love the rcas and dblocks (the old expert series is nice). Maybe in due time they will release something though... Which version of the rca's do you run? I ...

The kf fused ones that take the rmd have a ground and remote wire hookup for the LED's. The one you have you can hook up a ZRDT3 into it, but not an RMD. RMD won't work, mhyde and Joerg tried it. You can however mod yours to work with an RMD. ZRDT3 or whatever are status led's like the amps have (re...

Pretty sure the toggle switch and the input wire have to do with the status LEDs that visually indicate whether the fuse is OK. Bingo. Congratulations you've won this fantastic living room furniture set. These LED's are a tad different than the ti fused distro's with the kf fuses that you can plug ...
