You could try this and let us know how it works out. I was looking at these for my doors... http://www.woofersetc.com/p3775/RWE204--MB-Quart-8"-300-Watt-DVC-Subwoofer.htm I ended up ordering a pair of these. I will let you know what I think in a few days. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN I hope they fit the e...

I want to be able to crank it up when I have the desire. The Quarts I have now were freebies from a friend, and have been laying around for a while after being pulled from an old install of his. I ran them for a few days until one blew, and now I need something to replace them. These seemed to have ...

Thanks for all the replies! There are vents in the kick panels, and I need those to breathe in the summer since I have no A/C. The dimmer switch would sure be easy to me over, but with that come another problem: As mentioned above, the rocker panel is a "C" channel, and the legs of the &qu...

I'm sure of that, but they are recessed into my floors like this: http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r274/LT4Hawk9/LT1%20swap%20in%20RT/P9100412.jpg And I can't go any larger. wider hits the frame rail, taller hits the body mount, deeper and the tire hits it when off-road. It is what it is, and I ca...

Thanks for the replies! Ideally, I'd like to stay under the $200 mark if possible. I've got enough tied up in this thing as it is. For sure, I'd like to be able to use the boxes I built for the quarts, since I had to hack my floorboards up to get them set in there. They are PVC caps, and are not ver...

What 8" midbass speakers?

Anybody got a good recommendation for a reasonable cost? I'm running them off of a JL 450.4 amplifier's 150w/ch side. I was looking at the JL ZR-800's.

Anyone have experience with these?

Thanks for giving me that feedback! It was a brain-fart that I had, and I couldn't find anyone who had used them before to see if they worked out okay or not. I priced 6" schedule 80 ones...HOLY CRAP! Those mofos were around $75 each! I needed that extra thickness, though...but couldn't swing t...

http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r274/LT4Hawk9/LT1%20swap%20in%20RT/IntlLF.jpg I have a 1980 IH Scout that I drive daily (when it runs...long story). I put a '97 Trans Am LT1 engine in it it, with fuel injection, automatic overdrive, etc. It's great fun to drive, but the tunes were a bit lacking....

Tony came down, paid me a visit and picked up a 2125 amp from me. Paid cash on the spot, and was a good guy to do biz with. Thanks!

I've got the pin, too. As I recall it was in the clear plastic bag inside the crate with the amp. The shirt was just hanging on the rack of shirts from PG, Alpine, and whoever else the shop dealt with at the time. I picked it off the rack and had them include it in the deal.

Once you get this one figured out, think about the fact that you stick a 4ga (or whatever) wire into your amp, then it reduces it to foil on a circuit board. :hurr:

Mine looked just like this, only silver: http://dkarros.com/es/images/stories/1980/1987-88_dodge-daytona-shelby-z.jpg Yours looks like it has the ground effects from an '88 or '89 Shelby. Did I make this up?

I seem to remember having a T-shirt with the PG Outlaw logo on it, that I got when I bought my amplifier. It was brown, and I rarely wore it since I hated the color. Is that something that was given with the amp purchase, or was it a separate thing. Anybody got one?

My first car was an '87 Shelby Z! Silver on charcoal cloth...the only Shelby Z I ever saw with a factory sunroof, too. Fun little car, especially after we tweaked the turbo wastegate a little bit. :shifty: I don't remember the slots in the front end like yours, though...

That's whjat I'm thinkin. The 2125s only had wiring connections at one end, and I figure that the wiring at the other end of this one made it "not work" without tweaking it a little bit. I called and left a message for Bill to call me, but they said it would likely be tomorrow before he ge...
