running 2 way: m25 vs m50

just wondering if there will be a noticable improvement upgrading an m25 to an m50 ? i love the m25 (i picked up for $30) and it plays CDs well ... however i have to turn the gains 3/4 to get satisfactory output.

you can always trim the metal a bit so the speaker fits if you have the right tool.

okay i got this amp for a grand total of $23 USD.

my first M series and it really feels well built ! here's a pic of the insides, anything unusual ? going to plug it in soon.

im picking up this amp tonight, ill let you know how it compares. im using RSD 65cs as speakers, which i ordered from indoaudio.com When you look at an amp like that, what parts are you actually lookng for, to determine quality, ability to produce clean power etc. All i see is big caps, a few toroid...

pickin up this m25 for .. $20. hope its better than the hifonics for my RSDs .. budget system coming together lol.

PG vs Soundstream

always a big fan of PG including ZX, M, MS series amps .. love them !!!

been seeing a lot of soundstream amps on ebay and ampguts.

what do you guys think. the reference/rubicon seem like decent equipment. as good as M/MS/ZX ?
