Thank you, guys, for your detailed answers. :) Nico, my sub has a single voice-coil, it is AudioArt RW12 for now.. :? RCA-adaptor is a good idea. Suppose you mean something like this.. http://download.phoenixphorum.com/TechSupport/cmono.pdf But, I would prefer for the amp to sum signals from both in...

I realize it is impossible for one sub to play stereo.
I want my sub, connected to the amp in a bridged mode, to play the summary signal from both inputs. Will it happen if I bridge the amp with ST/BR switch set to STEREO position?

Stereo/Bridge switch while bridging MS2125

Hi guys. I shold like to find out something about my original MS2125. Can I use my MS in a bridged mode for subwoofer with the STEREO/BRDG switch set to STEREO? I should like to do it in order for my system to play the bass notes, recorded in both channels. Do I understand it correctly? The bridged ...

Personally if I was going to secure the panels, I would have siliconed it or used a pop rivet gun and a gasket material, or both.
I used 8-mm thick soft and porous sound insulating material as a gasket for the door panel plates.

My first install [with oldschool PG]

Hi guys! :) I haven't posted any topic on the phorum since I posted a story about having a wonderful oldschool MS2125, carefully restored by Nico Boom. Nico and some other guys asked me to share my installation with all phorum members. Finally, I am posting some pics of my install. This is my first ...

I want to recommend Nico to you as a very reliable and honest PG seller. More than that, he is a real fan of MS-amp's quality. He is not only selling these rare amps, but also restores them, cleaning, replacing caps, silpads and other parts that needs replacement. After leaving his hands, an amplifi...

A long way of some oldschool MS2125

Hi guys; I'd like to share my emotions and tell you my story of becoming an MS2125 owner. It was a long way for this great amp to become mine. First, I must tell you I am from Russia. You know, it is very hard to find and then buy a good MS2125 here. But I shall start from the beginning. Five months...

Thank everybody for support!
I will not buy this amp. Unfortunately, it needs restoring. And buying the amp that needs to be restored for that price is unable.
Nico, I hope we will solve the problem of shipping. TNT-Post must perform shipment to Moscow.

I talked to him.
It's unable to ship it to Russia for a reasonable price. After the shipment the cost of Nico's amp will be about 570 Euro.
That's a seller's floor.
Are you sure about the caps? Seller told me that the amp was inspected by his partner in USA, and then by him in Russia.

Thank you for the answer. :) Need to replace the caps... That's bad. I don't have it, and have never done it. What can you tell about rev.C? Suppose rev.B would be better. Seller have bought it for 550$, plus shipment from USA to Russia, plus custom's clearence, plus insurance. Summary I'll have to ...

Some bumps (irregularity, roughness) on the face of a cap may be seen on the next picture. Is it a cap's defect?

Should I buy this MS2125? Asking for advice.

But seller with MS2125 is in other city, so I can rate (estimate) the amp by pics only. And I should like to ask experienced enthusiasts for he...

So I must take RCA's, disconnected from a head unit (deck), then to short the outside contact of RCA to its inside contact. Is it correct?
Then why is it written "...to the inside contact of the inputs to the amp"? :)
