Ok one more question. Say from the EQ230 one set of RCA's goes into the 200.4. Now on the 200.4 i use that 4 channel mode button wich would give signal to all four channels right? Now one set of RCA's is providing all four channels with signal. Does the strength of the signal get divided because it...

Also the previous owner (from another forum, who's name I did not mention) was very pissed off that I made this post and said it was derogeroty and paints him in a bad light. So he refused to pay me anything towards the repairs or for the screws or lights as he promised. well to be honest - this pa...

Ok so I am able to get the EQ230 shaheen is talking about aswell as the TBA that goes with it. I understand that this would give me up to 8vrms. I do not know much about these pieces or even what a 1/3rd octave EQ does. But I suppose I can learn. well an octave is a doubling or halving of a frequen...

At the current exchange rate, which is R10.20 to one US $, it'll work out to around R510 for me, plus postage/duties (if any). I paid R1700 (US$ 166) for the amp brand new :D A thrid of the price for a cover seems a bit steep (for me anyways) (Sorry for the hijack BlackOnBlack  ) yo - at one ...

Ok, your G4 uses DDR333 (PC2700) and the Macbook uses DDR2667 (PC2-5300). It should be backwards compatible, but you might as well get the newer faster stuff for that price. im no expert on laptops - but wont those have different pin counts ??? - i know that lappies use SODIMM's instead of DIMM's b...

If, theoretically, an amplifier makes the same power on 8 ohms as it does on 1 ohm, does that mean the speaker will actually sound louder (use the power more efficiently) at the 8 ohm connection? no - it probably wont be louder but in theory (on paper) at the higher impedance the amp should retain ...

i have been running an x200.4 for about a year now - and i love it for the clean power it is able to give - it sounds better than other amps because of the amounts of undistorted power you can get from it - and i have just gotten an x1200.1 - so i will be running the x200.4 for my front stage only -...

if you are after tonality then no problems - but if you want proper SQ ie including good staging and imaging then i think that anything other than a sub is a no-no at the back even when it comes to subs - no matter how transparent it seems (ie when you cant figure out its location) there will always...

Shaheen's got it right. At least one of the amps would need an output. haha - wasnt shaheen that replied - you just looked at the flag and assumed it was - sorry about the mixup - i just come from the same country as shaheen - but when he isnt in the UK he is at least a 6 hour drive away from me so...

bro gkitching... sorry but whats a 'daisy-chain'? see the diagram he has attached to his post - you have one input into the first amp - then a set of outputs (pre-outs you may find them called) - which will allow you to feed a full range signal to the inputs of a second amp with the built in crosso...

I would recommend against using the Quart crossover for other brands of speakers. Even if you impedance match, there will still be slight variations that change the crossover slope frequencies. Not to mention, sometimes the crossovers will have notch filters in place to filter out certain resonance...

I understand your plight... the search for transparent bass is a toughy! I finally found it with the RSD Comp woofer in my install. That sub brings a grin to my face every day! I have heard excellent reviews about the Ultimo as well. I run "Morel" speakers (PG Ti Elites) up front and love...

If you're open to using an in-dash eq, that would be a great pre-amp that you could plug straight into. yeah most of these would have a set of inputs as well probably an aux input as well and then would probably give you front and rear as well sub outputs from the source inputs - and they are mostl...

Did you get that sub installed? I wish that came in a DVC. i get what you mean about the DVC bit but im happy enough with it being a single voice coil - if you want to change the impedance's i think there is a 2ohm version available - so you can use two and series them for 4 ohms or use one to get ...
