I think you could do much better with that install, but it sounds like you're already well into planning round two. Get those wires tucked away, and put the rubber boots back on the amp (it keeps stray wires from falling into it, which could cause serious damage!). Next thing you need to do is run ...

You can't tell from the video, but it actually hits really nice and gets down low too. With the gain turned down a bit (with the LPL knob how-to on here :D ) it blends pretty well with the stock stereo, which has a stock amp right by the Xenon behind the carpet. I hadn't listened to an AQ before, st...

My Install - 01 Grand Am GT

I haven't really gotten pictures of my stereo since I installed it a year ago, and I wanted to show off a little, so here it is. A new box and amp rack are gonna be made this summer, so this setup is just temporary. I finally got videos of the sub in action, it finally is breaking in and getting lou...

Try grounding out the shields on the RCA cables at the HU. Some Pioneers have that problem, and grounding the RCA cables out almost entirely eliminates the engine/alternator whine.

The only eBay problem I've had was when I bought my amp off there (never again lol). I contacted them a few times for info on a tracking number or something so I'd know the status of it, no reply. Week later I get an email asking for positive feedback. I was like "what the fuck, why would I giv...

Mequiar's or Mother's Quick Detailer. I use it after washing because it cleans everything off the car. http://www.autogeek.net/motcalgolind.html http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-ultimate-quik-detailer.html You can also get a bottle when you buy a clay bar kit (very recommended by me, makes the car s...

It's $5 each, I just emailed them before winter break started here. They still have some Onyx covers too, but out of my price range I think.

Damn, looks nice. I have an AQ sub myself, and it's probably all I'll need, even on just 600wrms it pounds, and blows my brother's 1000+wrms ID system out of the water. Nice choice on the setup again, hope you don't break much else with the second sub

I actually had him post in my thread in the FS section when I was looking for one, he gave me the idea to do it, but nobody mentions if the pot is linear or not. I'll give it a go when I have a few spare minutes this weekend, the pot was only like $3, so if it doesn't work (hopefully it does) I'm no...

Home Made LPL

I'm planning on making my own LPL, and already bought the parts but haven't opened them yet. The potentiometer I want is the 50k-ohm linear-taper, correct? That's the kind I bought, and the only 50k-ohm I saw there. Thanks for the help guys.

Are the 100.2 and 600.1 the same size, with the same markings?

Who can I contact at PG to get an Onyx cover for my 600.1? My case is jacked up, and I was going to paint it if I couldn't get another cover. Do they have the back rubber covers (covers without wire holes) as well? Thanks guys, and sorry to jack your thread a little BoB.

Hey Brian, is that SLD44 still available? Is it $25 shipped or $25 plus shipping?

They probably don't have as bad of dings as mine, and mine isn't a refurb. If it's a refurb from PG that's fine, and do they come with warranties?

I know it's a little late, I'm kind of on the fence for getting a new one, and didn't see how cheap the 600.1 would be (I paid more for mine off eBay used, and it's not in the greatest shape).

Do the Xenons come with the manual and birthsheet? What kind of cosmetic imperfections do they have? What would shipping be to 58105 for a 600.1? I'm thinking of getting a new one and selling my current 600.1.
