I ran mine IB on my very well deadened doors off the rear channels of a ZX475. Watch the bass boost I had to put mine to -6 or so to get a decent blend as they were too over powering in lower notes before the subs took over. Ran mine 70-350hz

i LOVED my mids+tweet in the A-pillar. with no eq'ing and just phase adjustments between them and the midbass the soundstage was very high. Midbass seemed to play at above chest height and there was much more of a snap compared to having mids in kicks or in doors.

Need ideas for 00 F150

Well, time has come that its time for a complete new build. Forcefully that is. If some of you remember I had an old 88s10 with a somewhat decent 3way frontstage. Ran 1-4 in the a-pillars and 8's in my doors with a pair of 10's behind the seat in a blowthrough. After writing off that truck completly...

Don't do it I ran a pair of ti10's dvc at 1 ohm, and it takes it for about an hour of pounding and it goes into thermal protection. But I wouldn't doubt it can last a lot longer with casual listing  ??? An hour? How is it that I can thermal my 800.1 in about 10minutes at 2ohm load. Granted th...

I have a pair of these in a blowthrough in my small truck. I also run a 3way upfront and have to greatly turn the subs down to blend smoothly in the 60-70hz range. As for SQ subs, not really. These subs dont have an extraordinary low end but they do wang around the 70 range. Haven't tried these port...

When my ZX475ti lost a rear channel (the channel put out static), it turned out be a bad crossover board. That seems to be a quite common problem with them. My 475 toasted the XO board as well. Thankfully it was before i bought it from the shop. Had it tested before buying and no dice! They were qu...

That is awesome! Getting laid off is not, however. Pity about that unfortunate dash kit... Have you considered using a real midbass speaker for your door duties? Maybe a pair of these , or something similar? Yes I have considered it.. But also trying to get a grill to fit over that is somewhat toug...

New A-Pillars!

Well, if any of you remember my S10 from the old forum it just consisted of glass'd pillars to hold my tweeter and mids were in the dash firing straight up. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y56/bladestars/IMG_2431.jpg Since I got laid off work, figured I might as well keep myself busy! New pillars n...
