Just installed a KDC-X693 in my ride. Love it, great feature set, great sound. Menu's are a bit clunky, all in all for the price and function I give it 10/10.

Verify your + and - speaker leads, drop the - and feed the + to the center pin of the RCA and ground the shield, be very careful with gain and volume. I have used this method many times with OEM integration and it works 90% of the time as most factory radios use a BTL amp (I believe this is the prop...

If so there may be a factory amp generating interference when you add the signal load of the LOC. Try d...

Both of those are from the newer line of HiFonics, in short they are re-clothed mass market product. They're not bad but they are essentially the same units as other labled items from the same parent company. See - http://www.maxxsonics.com/ Most items across brands are the same inside. Every ear is different. I love'd my demo unit in a larger sealed box. It played low, loud, and accurate.

If you have a dual 12 box around or that you can borrow even a pre-fab, just to get an idea of what they sound like before making a custom box it may be well worth it.

Marketing Genius

I was really wondering what every technophile needed this holiday season and I think I have found it.

Now you can listen to your favorite jam while you drop a loaf.
