Phoenix Gold in Portland, Oregon, seemed to have an own r&d department until the company was sold. Even while they took the manufacturing to China (which became necessary in the last years), they obviously kept their development in house and so they were able to create truly unique products. I h...

Without any doubt, the 4150 is one of the best Robert Zeff amps ever. It is definitely the best amp out of the CXL/XXK series.

It reminds me of this amp line:

And the specs of the D-9s are pretty similar...

The equation "Phoenix Gold = unique engineering" doesn't seem to be vaild anymore. :(

The Arc Audio / Elf audio amps, which are pretty obviously the same board and case, but different internals, are a perfect example of exact same board, exact same build house, exact same case... but very different amps... because of internals. Do you really believe this? I would bet, that the reall...

I assume that the 64% are totally wrong.

Europe, China, India and Japan together definitely have a higher output than the USA.

In terms of crossover and gain features, you should have a look at the ARC SE Series, their features are perfect. x10 multipliers are not necessary for entry level amps. But please offer separate high- and low pass controls, and allow the highpass to start at about 20 Hz, so that it can be used as a...

I don't understand the enthusiasm here. The amp pic shows a typical Korean engineered layout, nothing unique.

The RSD amps, in comparsion, are unique.

Unfortunately, it was a little bit different. When MB Quart belonged to Rockford Corp., a lot of mistakes were made, especially in the German market. After the bankruptcy in 2004, Maxxonics bought the company and they separated the brand rights from the company/factory. In the following 3 years, the...

RSd 500.4 has TIP 35/36C output devices, the same as all the originally Robert Zeff engineered smaller 4-channel amplifiers. Regaring the power, they are pretty equal, since the 50 watts Zapco rating is not a 13.8 or 14.4 volts rating. Indeed, the online sales of PG products are a huge problem and I...

What do you mean with "explaining" Bananenweizen?

Is it so uncommon in the rest of the world?

Warum Kristallweizen mitunter mit ner Zitrone serviert wird? Eigentlich weiß ich es gar nicht, aber ich vermute, weil es damit erfrischender ist.

RSd3, coaxial or dual cone?

Hi everybody!

Only from the pictures, I cannot recognize whether the RSd 3 has an integrated tweeter or it is just a dual cone.

Thanks in advance!

The built quality of the current Ryval Amps is really good, very clean work. You can really see and feel the very good quality control. It has some non obvious, but very well thought out details, for example the mounting legs and the fixing of the daughter PCBs inside. But the design of the heatsink...
