Re: should the elite amp have a new/differnt look?
Guys, All your input is appreciated. But I think you can tell just by replies here its impossible to come to a consensus on what the finish should be to make everyone happy. For example, put a bunch of lights on the inside, then half the guys will say it looks like a flea market amp. The other half ...

Re: The New ti21600.5
No problem. Your system power would be:
Front 4 ohms/2 ohms Stereo: 150w x 2 or 250w x 2
Rear 4 ohms bridged: 500w x 1
Sub 2 ohms: 900w x 1
Lots of power in a small package.

Re: The New ti21600.5
Rockcrawl,
We are in the final stages of testing 1600.5 now. Expect it shipping next month.
A very strong amplifier in a small package. They are doing about 150w x 4 at 4 ohms on front/rear and 900w plus on the channel at 2 ohms.
Sub channel is not stable to 1 ohm.

Re: New Phoenix Gold Product Suggestions (Here We Dream)
Elite.5 addresses the issue if someone wanted a smaller power Elite four channel and monoblock. It would also be smaller than two separate amplifiers. Elite amps are not small, but with smaller size come some compromises that we don't want to make. If you are looking for a small, really good soundin...

Re: My 500.4 needs some help
Just change the setting on the config switch see if the problem goes away, or wiggle the potentiometers one at a time.
I would not remove the switch or pots from the board, its very easy to damage traces unless you are used to repair work.

1.5 ohms is a BAD idea. Stick to around 4 ohms or a little higher if possible.

I am always here to support!
Last year we had a large presence at Daytona/SBN with the Devastor, etc.
This year is much smaller, just has to do with timing and other factors.
Noted on the Apparel requests.

Re: Why no subsonic filter on 5 ch. amps?
Ti, Ti2 and Elite 5 channels all have subsonic filters. We even added variable phase on the sub section for Ti2 and Elite. Ti600.4, Ti800.4, and new Ti21000.4 also all have subsonic filters on the rear channels. SD, R and RX do not have subsonic on rear/sub channels due to either physical PCB space ...

Re: Phoenix Gold Elite.5 5 Channel
On the Ti2 10 inch woofer I specifically warned, "If you set the level properly and not go crazy on the volume knob you should be OK." With the level set wrong and/or listening at very high levels its very possible the sub will fail thermally, hence my warning. We don't preach "overpo...
