Re: Elite.65cs experiences?
Good components for the price. Overall a great sounding set of speakers. Tweeters are amazing! Mids could play a little lower but sound good anyways.

Very nice! We're all expecting a ride now!
Re: OEM bliss
I'm currently using the RF 3Sixty.3 DSP with my factory HU. It sounds amazing "sometimes". I'm replacing the RF with an Alpine PXA-H800 this summer.
You can achieve great sound using a factory HU for sure.

Yes! I'm having issues with mine. Alpines been doing DSP for years. RF hasn't.twisted wrote:AVICJR wrote:If I were to do it all over again: I would choose an Alpine H800.

The Elite.65cs are their flagship components, top of the line. MSRP is around $450-ish if I recall correctly.

Re: 2014 Nissan Maxima
How old was this kid? Never heard pg before? He's in his early 30's?!?!?! Let me rephrase that, he hasn't heard very many PG products before. My car was the first he's actually been able to get in to and mess around with. Honestly, it isn't too far fetched, PG is not very popular at all in Houston.

Re: 2014 Nissan Maxima
Wow that's a great install. How does it sound? I like how clean and simple looking it is. Did you refinish your dd5? I think mine has more writing on it. I have some ideas for mine actually so I'm curious. Thanks fellas! The install was done by Rick Paul (speakerpimp on DIYMA) at Car Toys in Webste...

Xenon X1200.1, Xenon X200.4, Elite.12d4, Elite.65cs, RF 3sixty.3. Sub is sealed off through the backseat cabin hole. Elite components are fully active, tweeters are amazing with 200+ watts to them. I do wish the mids would play a little lower but they sound good as well. http://tapatalk.imageshack.c...

Amp Rack- Carpet or Vinyl?
Should I carpet or wrap my amp rack in vinyl? As of right now it's going to be carpeted to match my trunk.
