Re: Phoenix Gold Elite.5 5 Channel
No possible modifications. Run the Elite.12d at 2 ohms and it will be fine!!! The Elite.12d is rated at 1600w RMS, THIS IS NOT THE POWER IT NEEDS TO REACH FULL POTENTIAL. This is the limit of the woofer's thermal and mechanical limitations. With 800w to 1200w RMS, the woofer performs fantastic and s...

Re: Phoenix Gold Elite.5 5 Channel
Timing played a small role, but more importantly we wanted to maintain the SQ foundation of the amplifiers, if that makes sense.
Not that adding the APP features would degrade sound quality, but it doesn't follow the line of MS, ZPA, etc, heritage.
Elite.5 is a great amp, I think you will love it.

Ti2 Monoblock Preview
Guys, We have been hard at work with lots of new products for this year, I will make an effort to update the products as they are released. We just completed production on the Ti2 800.1 and Ti2 1300.1. They will be arriving in the USA by end of February/early March. FEATURES: - Ultra small footprint...

Re: Phoenix Gold Elite.5 5 Channel
There isn't a fan on the Elite.5, simply wasn't enough room to include a fan. Our priority was to keep the the same size as the others models. However, since the sub section is Class D this provides a large reduction in heat. The heatsink itself is massive, even without the fan. Very little thermal ...

Re: Phoenix Gold Elite.5 5 Channel
Normal listening - 20 to 50 amps
Hard Listening - 50 to 100 amps
"Bass MechaniK" Listening - 75 to 150 amps
Use an 1/0 power wire and most stock electrical systems are pretty close to keeping up.

Re: Anyone Heard the Ti2 Subs?
A single 10 ported in this case might actually be slightly louder than two sealed.
Either way its going to be silly loud.

Re: Anyone Heard the Ti2 Subs?
If you go with a single sub you might consider at Ti210d4, so a 2 ohm final load. It will be around 800w RMS from the amp at that load, the woofer is rated for 600w. If you set the level properly and not go crazy on the volume knob you should be OK. A single Ti2 ported in a crew cab is going to soun...

Re: CES 2013 Sneak Peek ?
Guys we have a ton of new stuff for this year. Let's start with the Ti2 amplifiers. These have a very small footprint but deliver a ton of power. The electrical designs are all done in the usa with our electrical engineering team. The full range class D design is really top notch, it uses what we ca...

Re: Phoenix Gold Elite.5 5 Channel
Elite.5 is shipping now. Usually we ship new product in January to March time frame, but we were a bit early on this one. Elite.5 definitely makes more power than Ti1600.5. Both are good amps, but Elite.5 has more headroom on all channels as its much more conservatively rated. The front end parts ar...

Re: Phoenix Gold Elite.5 5 Channel
Buy a 'new' RMD, plug it in and be done with it. I am sure you can make it fit, even though its smaller than the current SDT display.
It also costs 1/4th price at least of the bloated R-Link/SDT display.

Re: Phoenix Gold Elite.5 5 Channel
don't suppose you would know about the r-links working on the elite amps would you morgan? Know anyone that would? RMD works with any Elite amp, but R-Link is too old school. ;) You can "hard wire" the SDT voltage display to the amplifier to get the voltage display to show up, but to get ...

Re: Congratulations to Phoenix Gold App amp
The amp is a 5 channel, class A/B and D hybrid. 60w RMS x 4 at 4 ohms 80w RMS x 4 at 2 ohms Plus 200w RMS x 1 at 4 ohms 300w RMS x 1 at 2 ohms All the level, crossover, etc, etc functions are controlled by a smart phone app, so you can adjust them on the fly or tune right from the driver's seat. It ...

Re: ti12d elite on ZPA's or xenons?
Elite amplifiers do not need a line driver. Any reasonable head unit output can drive them to maximum power with the sensitivity at a reasonable low level.

Re: Need a good SQ 12
Ti2 and RSDc woofers are very similar.
You might check that the lead wire is not hitting the cone at high excursion on RSDc, I have seen that issue before. If that is the case, you should be able to bend the terminal so it doesn't hit.
