I just repaired an alpine type r 15 with black weatherstripping glue from an auto parts store. worked very well. strong hold, made to take abuse, and flexible. Found this to be a better option than silicones which I've used in the past.

Tricky, what is the benefit of the larger capacitance? I replaced my caps with the new larger ones per the forums general recommendation, but what does this do for me or my system?

i just had an m-44 repaired and it was in real bad shape. someone tried fixing prior and stripped out several of the heat sink threads. they reworked the board and repaired the damaged threads. They got it back to me working great.
