Re: rebuilding an OG ms1000 Nickel
the small ones are usually 85°. I would replace them with 105° caps if they are available. It would be best to leave some space between the big hot resistors and the new caps or lift them up but that can spoil the clean factory look.

Re: rebuilding an OG ms1000 Nickel
Hi Ttocs
Im not an expert at all but I change them when:
- the foil is shrunk
- the top of the cap is not flat but around
- they leak but this happens only with the bigger type of caps IMHO
- when they are dent

Re: Outlaw repair need advise
all the parts on the M100 section are back on the PCB. Couldn’t wait to power up the amp. First I used a 5A fast blowing fuse but just before the green LED came on it popped. Than I used a 10A fuse and the green LED came to life. Just before the green LED light's up it draws almost 20A just to switc...

Re: Outlaw repair need advise
Hello forum members. Thanks Jason for the help and advice. The repair takes allot of time but now there is some progress: I used copper foil to bridge the gaps. The transfo is until now the most difficult part to put back on the pcb board. I used a clear overcoat pen to protect the damaged parts on ...

Re: Outlaw repair need advise
Thank you Bertje for the clear pictures!!
If I change the IRFZ44 to IRFZ48 in the M100 en M50 section do I need to change the gate resistors to another value?
If so what are these for the M100 and M50 section?

Re: Outlaw repair need advise
The gate resistors for the M100 part are 100 Ohm. Does anybody know how many watt these are?
Diodes are 1N5401 3A 100V.
The little blue ceramic capacitor, is this 0.47µf? How many volts?

Bought some zpa plexi's and one of them had some issues. He shipped me another one without extra charges. Not many people would do this. Very recommended!

Bought some ZPA items from Keith. We had good, fast communication and he wants to do it right. Packing could not been better, bomb proof. This was a smooth transaction, I' m happy with it. I can highly recommend Keith.
