Anyone on here know of any good amp repair places or people that will do work cheaper than flat rate AAMP charges for minor repairs :twisted: ? If its something major than AAMP is the way to go. But to pay the full flat rate charge to replace 1 cap and fix a fan ground wire seems like a lot :shock: ...

My first was a ZX400ti and a ZX475ti in 1999. Only purchased pg since. I still have the ZX400ti but it needs repair. Anyone know of anyone who fixes these for cheaper than AAMP and does quality work? The ZX475ti got stolen . Since I have had : Xenon X1200.1 X100.4 X600.1 and new TI2500.1

I've seen some refinished amps. Whether they're cool not depends strictly on taste. Your idea sounds cool to me man. I love the copper look. I say go for it and post some pics!
