Multimeter method is flawed.

We listen to music which is dynamic....nit constant test tones.

Oh and I did make the mistake of slicing right through the cone in 3 spots making 1" slices.:oops:

It was a Souundstream Exact 12 with the smaller dustcap. :oops:

Nice write up. Did something similar but only had to re attach the surround. The only bit of advice I'll add is to cut the business card into 1/4" to 5/16" strips and run them all around the pole piece leaving no gaps. Not sure if it makes a difference but I wanted to be sure mine was cent...
