ZPA0.5 ground switches missing?

My other post reminded me of a question I've had for years... Both my ZPA0.5's, as received from Phoenix Gold about 10 years ago, came minus their ground switches. The manual specifically calls these switches out and tells you how to use them either as fixed or floating. Well mine just have solder &...

I didn't even unplug my tbat. I did have to reach underneath my steering wheel to tweek the gain pot but all the wires remained secure. Anything else I could of accidentily done besides fubar my ground? There is no setting in the ZPX2 correct? I don't recall seeing one as I changed it from a white c...

Completed a transaction for a PG ZPX2 without a hitch. Item was as described and carefully wrapped.

Would do business with again. Seems like a good guy, he gave very quick replies to PM'd questions.

Thanks!

Engine Whine?

So I've recently replaced my ZPX2 (Active X-over) with a working unit. While in there setting it up statically I also tweaked the TBAT2 for my line levels in (I'm running the balanced cables throughout the system). It all came together wonderfully..... until.... I started the car up and drove. I kno...

Sweet systems. I like your old Klipsh La Scala's nico. That's the 1st time I've seen car audio amps driving a living room or any room indoors besides a bedroom. Waas this done because you had amps laying around or for audio reasons? Love the Linn and Bowers & Wilkins stuff. I almost went with Pa...

Having read a little more on the elites... Seems I might like mid-bass more than the elites are capable of?

Is the ZPA0.5 really the right beast for sub-duty? i thought she was more of a "beauty"?

I had my whole system stolen, well the trunk part anyway. Two ZPA0.5's and my ZPX2. A couple caps, my cd changer and power distribution plus my custom panels that spelled out M3. At the time a stereo shop from another town got a hold of me, told me two guys were trying to sell them some used gear. T...

Too lazy to quote atm... So random replies it is. Yes, I'm using one for sub duty in bridged mono operation I seem to recall and I'm using the other for mids/highs via a passive x-over. I kinda liked the original Diamond Audio Hex's, they don't make them like this anymore. These are the old honeycom...

I've got a tbat2... I've got it tunneled through my rear-deck. It's almost a direct fire into my cabin, some structure was used to fill the gap between the box and rear deck with a bunch of dynamat to seal and absorb. I know the ZPA0.5 is a great amp but taint I wasting the musicality of it on a cou...

Install advice. ZPA0.5 for sub duty?

Hi, found you guys while I was looking for a ZPX2 and it seems I may have found a valuable resource on car audio. My daily driver is an old, and getting older every day, BMW M3 (E36). It's had the same stereo in it for around 10 years now without upgrades or changes. Having read through the forums a...

Some old and some new... ready for movies, not so much for two-channel listening although it works for me. Denon 5700 (ready for something to switch my HDMI stuff around when something makes the grade) Toshiba HD-XA2 (not ready for a stand alone BD yet, they're just now catching up to what HD-DVD on...

I think I will, I'll have two now. I should have done a bit more research.... I was told they went out of business. I know they changed names but I was told PG support died... silly me. Anyone know what ZPX2's used to retail for? I have no idea as I got all my stuff ~10 years ago from their factory....

Help... I fried my ZPX2 (WTB)

Hi, new guy due to my search for a cure for my ailing system. I fried the highpass side of my ZPX2. Anyone happen to have one for sale or have even just the mainboard laying around for sale? I really don't want to change my system over to something else as I'm running balanced cables and the line am...
