Another couple questions. Is one 500.4 too much for the 5.25's active and is one 1200.1 enough for 2 rsdc12's. thanks for all the help.

The only reason I considered rear fill with the Rsd's where the extra money I would have using them. The price is ridiculous. I've went over what i want to do for over a month. Even considered custom 6x9 kicks and a set of horns. But honesty, After hearing everyone's opinion of the rsdc woofers I ha...

5.25 comp questions

Just bought an 87 bmw for work. Factory speakers are 5.25's. Being that it is a work car and everything Im not really trying to spend a ton and the more I think about it I would also like to keep it stealth. The factory fronts are in the kicks. obviously they will need dampened but I was wondering i...

Definitely let us know what you think when it gets installed. I'd be quite interested in your take on the IDMAX vs RSdC. Ditto, I had an IDmax running on a xenon 600.1 crossed at 43hz and thought it was very musical. Im expecting even better results from an IB or TB application. I honestly havent h...

well sir if you ran active you could shop around for some sweet tweets. I might know someone that had a set of usd horns for sell pretty cheap too. Then again, god knows how much you would have tospeand on active crossovers. Your tantrum stuff doesnt have bandpass crossovers do they.

why havent you considered the ti elite 5.25 comps, itty bit pricey but if you arent doing anything with rear fill and you can run the comps active i think the outcome would have to burn your eyebrows off. And then maybe run a single elite 12.... O because then you would have to buy Ti amps lol

your midrange speakers being in the kicks and flowing up the console will give you the effect that the main speakers of a concert are right in front of you while your ears have more trouble hearing where notes from 45 to 120 are coming from they can be in the doors and if they are crossed over well ...

because your mids make your stage and kicks are better for stage. and i imagine doors with all there empty space would make a bigger enclosure unless you wanted to cut some shit

Dont hate but i told him he should run a set of ID x-69's and some cde-1 horns and he would have all the volume that he would need along with an amazing front stage. I even tried to give him my Idmax. Yeah... he wasnt having it. Like I said before Mo fo is loyal as hell. I'm almost afraid to start l...

Im not really aware of how the rsdc comps perform. Im sure if he can get away with a 5.25 he will do so. I know he is going for a SQ setup and deadening the doors is something that should be done regardless. He has had good setups before with good equipment, but never with a dominant front satge. He...

I'm all about no rear fill too but this dude has a convertible and I'm honestly worried about a single set of 5.25's putting out the midbass he wants and needs. I told him he should check into a rsdc mid driver in the back but I'm nobody. Anyone else got some good advice for his lack of cone area.

YO, Im not dissing the RSd's Im trying to find out whats up wif em. My dude is a big believer in PG and Im not that hip. I hate to say I started out at the age of 16 thinking that JL audio was that absolute. Didnt take me long to figure out otherwise. I was impressed with xenon series for the money ...
