Once I get the fused power ground distros I will make another set of cables to goto the amp from the distro. I put the cables on the amp just for the picture. O...

Re: M-Series ?
I replaced the caps in my M50 last night. Good job I did that before powering it up as all three had been leaking. I've replaced all with Panasonic FC 3900uF 25v and the forth fits just fine. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/07/yputypav.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/07/meruse2a.jpg http://img....

M-Series ?
I am gearing up to do cap replacement on several of my M-Series amps  While I have them opened up I thought of replacing the 16Gauge speaker leads with 12. What are your thoughts on this, will it help? I have always over killed with wiring, but if it does not make any difference I will leave ...

Re: My first self install!!
Looks good for a first timer! Nice and clean, 1 thing I see in the pics it looks like your running 12 gauge to your subs. I would go a little bigger so your not starving power to the subs and making that sweet ass amp work harder! JMO

Re: PG Rare & Limited Edition Registry
Damn you are buying up a lot of LE amps. There's not a category for them but I have 2 ZPX2s now. I didn't realize that there are 2 types, one is #0060, the other has a much longer serial, 02848362130007. The latter is open under the plexi and has gold logo on e plexi. The first is solid metal under...

funny my folks are just the opposite. The one thing my dad collects is stamps but a fairly small/rare area that he specializes in. Re: PG MS2125 or MPS2500?
Not sure what I am doing with this I picked it up off craigs for 125 bucks. The caps look in good shape so I am not sure if they were changed out or not. I am going to need new plexi for it, and new powder coat (its a little scratched up) end plates are in good shape. Not sure what year it is. seria...

Great info on both amps! Now I am a little confused, I just picked up a MS-2125 that has 50v caps in it. Cant tell if these are original or not. The seller didn't know squat about this amp.

Re: decals screen printing
I talked to a local commercial graphics company and they stated they could make decals for the M50 (that I asked them about) but there is a minimum of 25pc @ 7-8 bucks each. It would cover the complete top cover so no decal edges are noticeable. Am sure they could also make the graphics on the plex...

I totally agree with the guys! Have the caps done, it would be a shame to have a leaky cap cause damage to a piece of art like this. So here is how the story goes: Its 1990 Im 16 in High School, I have my 81 AMC Concord that I bought from Grandma. I picked up a Kenwood cassette deck and a Funky Power (yes that's the name) amp. This thing was about the size of 3 credit cards  From some goofball hoodrat out of his locker for...
