I've looked into using them for the next season and listened to a few cars at MECA finals this year. I didn't know you were going! Competition is rarely mentioned around here. I didn't even think to ask if anyone here went. I didn't get to go this year due to finances. Did you get a chance to...

I'm not sure that Andy is running more hybrid stuff anymore. His car has gone through many changes over the last two seasons so make sure you know what you are hearing!!!

I've looked into using them for the next season and listened to a few cars at MECA finals this year. I listened to Dave Edwards' camry and Dave Brooks' F250. They both sounded good, though the tweeters sounded very quiet and a little shy for my tastes. I will admit that both that I heard were very q...

The old ecd series of units that Eclipse made were awesome. They had a vacuum tube display, low output impedance and high voltage. They were one of the originators of high voltage and low impedance. No bells and whistles to complicate the sound or extra heat to make things run cooler.

I glass outside until it starts to setup then stuff it in my cherokee with the heat on high! After about 30 minutes it has set up enough to add another layer. If I don't need another layer then I do let it set in ther garage over night. If it's a thinner part I would let it sit for at least 24 hours...

Sweet installs!!! I do have one question though, How well did the big PG logos hold up when the subs play? I've got a set in the closet that I've wanted to use like that but I've always worried about the buzz from them being so flimsy.

And have fun sponging!!! I know I've done it before!!

As long as it's within a short time, it may spark a little, but it won't be much, nor will it hurt anything. Just hook it up and go one your way.

I used some years ago in my nissan. It was a little more pliable than regular dynamat, but that was when the foil lined mats were just starting to come into the scene. It was a good product, but I used some silicone to seal the edges down.

I don't know for sure but you may have sent too much voltage through the block. Without knowing exactly what the engineers had planned on an acceptable amount of current and amperage, it's hard to say what could've gone wrong. Or you could've just gotten a unit with a bad capacitor or resistor and i...

Do a search on diymobileaudio for techflex. There is a guy with a store on ebay under the name fuzzyletters that is great to deal with. His prices are reasonable and Barry has a huge stock of sizes and colors.

I'm using a alpine H/U and processor, with a dyn front stage. If I weren't using my Xtant amps, I'd look for some old ZPA's. I used a C90 in the past, and loved the sound, hated the display, processor options are limited. If you are real serious, a look at the f#1 stuff may be necessary.
