Re: Outlaw replacement..
These Tantrum powergrid units are known to catch fire. Same as the TI powercores. I´ve seen it in person and would never ever install them myself. A close friend of mine lost his amps (3 MS2125 with consecutive serial numbers and dealer plexis) to a powergrid fire.

Re: Making 1 of none amps
All i can say is no to copper. Even with clear coat applied, it doesn´t take long to start to corrode. It only takes a single warm up phase of the amp to start showing blemishes. I tried it with a MS2250.
If u want a copper colored amp make sure you powder coat or paint it.

Re: post a pic of your latest purchase
Since the heating system of our house was installed back in 1979 and it´s efficiency more or less sucks compared to modern systems i was looking for an affordable replacement for some time now. New systems cost quite some cash (arround 7000eur) so i checked a local for sale website if used systems a...

Since the hood and everything had to be reworked and the guy doing this job for me didn´t care too much about appearance and floating lines anymore i stopped the project above and will go back to the old intake i had. I´ll start over with it when money allows me to buy my own welder and i can do the...

Re: FS Ms2250
With all the caps replaced in fully working order with shroud and fanboard 850USD shipped is a good price. Non cap replaced amps without the shroud always sell for 600 to 650USD. Two times in 6 years being a member in here i´ve been lucky enough to fetch one with a shroud for 650. But they all neede...

Re: happy new year. How was your year?
Happy new year everybody!!! I had a pretty good year. Didn´t have any health issues besides some backpain because of the exhausting work arround the house. Luckily everbody else within the family is ok as well. We are only worried about my grandfather that turned 86 last year. Regarding Phoenix Gold...
