Re: how to find out when your amp was built

no there is some way to tell on some of the amps, what is it the gregorian calandar or something? The gregorian calendar is the commonly accepted/utilized calendar in most of the western world. I dunno if there is a name for the representation of gregorian dates used by PG for certain amps but clea...

In terms of actual production amps, I would think the original nickel MS1000 has best combination of rarity and most wantedness.

Yeah, the main thing with PCs is to unload all the garbage software installed by the Manufacturer. It's always useless bloatware with 30 things all set to startup at every login with stupid ugly GUIs. If you've got a vanilla copy of Windows (or Linux!) install that right away and live happily. I wo...

Re: Buying a laptop

I don't use many PC/Laptop brands on a daily basis anymore but I do like Lenovo, Toshiba and Sony from the recent PC laptops I've used, but they've all been in the $1000+ range too I don't know about the $500 range so much. I wouldn't buy a Dell personally, but I do know several people who are happy...

Re: Queston for the Phorum.....

I think it's a fine idea Shawn, but you're really going to have to decide if you want to do this by yourself. I'm not sure if a "show of hands" for "who wants me to compile info" is going to represent how much value you can or cannot bring to the table with your compilation idea....

Re: PG Xmax on 200 rms?

Should be fine on 200W as long as you're not expecting huge SPL.

I had an Xmax 10 bridged off the rear channels of an M44 and it was good, but certainly not the same output as my current setup.

Are the digital TV/HD box and PVR integrated as one unit?

You probably plug the PS3 into your receiver or TV directly with HDMI.

Anyways. This was about greed, pure and simple, and not about race or even teh "unreasonable" shooting of an armed, known, criminal (remember how prevalent guns are in the UK, i.e. they're not). Bret Does it not speak to anything deeper in the fabric of modern UK/British society? Just pla...
