PM me if you need options on BB replacements. I will share what I have found to work, and since there are ONLY two op-amps used by PG its really not a big deal, just don't get them mixed up or you can cause circuit instability, and a nice fuzz will appear on all your audio that pass's thru the amp.....

Re: 1200 TI
Does anybody know who can fix these? I need a new power supply. As long as the board is not burned up any so-so tech can rebuild the power supply. Its just mosfets , drivers, and gate resistors normally. Not really a big deal unless you get a ding-dong that can't follow the simple rule of replace t...

I have seen this and it is explainable: The original first runs of the M series boards were Gold plated just like MS/MPS series amps. Standard production back then. Now Why Gold plating in the first place, Well Gold is INERT, it will not corrode, Copper corrodes. PG Gold plated to prevent corrosion...

OK, this is perfect, Thank you. Your outputs are IRF-640 and IRF-9640 This amp uses both P and N junction outputs in groups of three.( Each group of three is arraigned to act like one big fet) In the group that reads bad you probably have a single shorted fet, and it will cause all three to read sho...

I.e. read from center lead to either leg on left anf then right... You should get no low reading any where...
