i think u would definitely need and an o-scope to really measure and test each of those amps for its max clean output ....

but man, the hifonics is definitely more overbuild then the alpine anytime.

the RJ-45 is just the plug and the twisted pairs crimped to it could be of any configuration. but i think since denon and PG do have some history working together ( the rare PG HU is a denon rite) , their RJ45 wiring is probably is the same. i ran a 0/1 wire fused, all the way to the trunk into a fused distribution box . From there 4 gauge to the rsd1200.1 and another 4 to rsd250.2. stock alternator ( 80A ) .Upgraded the battery though. These amps to a pair of rsd65cs and a single rsd12" at 2. Works great :D

marc based on my limited knowledge , the layout does look very dual mono to me especially lookin at the the PS/rail caps thats completely individual to each channel ... :) my home stereo amp or the car stereo amps does not have these layout for sure... by the way the price difference between PG stuf...
