I was starting to think I was the only one here not making my own voice coils as thought it was interesting as hell. I just always though that they were to much of a precision device to be made in my basement with a drill, epoxy, some tape and a cardboard tube.

thats pretty awesome. I figured it was like that but Im not skilled enough to make a working voice coil. i might do it for fun. lol
