71 Blazer install finally started

Post by teamradrz1 »

Still working on my Blazer project, but I started the stereo install.

So far I wired in the deck and the 1/0. Made the console bottom plate with the Powercore, TLD66 and base cube. Then made my false floor amp rack for the 2 X1200.1s and the X200.4 ran all the power wire in the rack. Still have lots of work to do but a good amount got completed for 1 days worth of work.

Ok enough with the chit chat on with the pix!

looks good so far. Are you concerned that the TLD being right next to the power core might pick up some noise? I always try to seperate power and signal and I don't know if I have ever known of a power core that close to a line driver. they are normally in the back just to keep them close to the amp.

Not sure if they are too close if I have noise I can always move it somewhere else I was planning on hiding those devices anyway and put a plexi just above the powercore at the bottom of the cosole chamber floor.

Chevy crate 350 w/275HP but then added Edelbrock cam, lifter and intake package, gear drives and alum roller rockers so should be about 300 HP.

OK made the boxes for the TiD Elites and welded up my seat frame so I can run the 04 Tahoe 3rd row 50/50 split bench in the rear.
