PG 7.1 home setup

Post by yeddy »

So I'm currently putting together a 7.1 PG Ti setup for my PC, yes thats right for my gaming computer! I'm just trying to figure out the best way to display these amps, so far I'm thinking of a rack sort of like the pic. Any suggestions?

Stacked!!! in a beautiful, multi level wood stand is my suggestion.

Biggest amp at the bottom, going up in a pyramid shape to the smallest amp.

Nico built something just like this for his MS amps and it's just beautiful.

Sell the 500.4's and 400.2 and get a Ti900.7, then put it end to end with your Ti1200.1 ;)

You're going to need one hell of a power supply for that though!

I have been considering selling some PG in-wall speakers that would go with it nicely if you are interested...
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Things are coming together, now have a pre amp + cd/dvd player. I also have a 900.7 in the works, hope to get it soon. I might consider selling the 400.2, 500.4, 600.2 at a later date.

I will be powering everything with the Kinetik HC1800 in the first picture, and also an 80amp Kinetik power supply/charger.

I don't know what to use for covering yet.

Does anyone know if the sub channels on the Ti 900.7 could play full range stereo? I've looked all over and couldn't fine any info.

Sooooooo many choices of covering, I played it safe with some black vinyl. My other choices were white or a platinum gloss (similar colour to my car)

Here it is!!! On the wall and powered up! I LOVE IT!!!! I'm running an 8 peice Mirage (Highend Canadian speakers) components all around. I am still going to make a second part to hold the RMD and a Ti Basscube. Probably going to mount it with the fuses...

WooHoo!!! I get my 900.7 tommorrow!!! I just closed the deal. Bye bye 400.2 and 500.4 or 600.2. the 400.2 was my center ch, 600.2 is front ch, 500.4 is side ch and rear ch currently.

Here is the question, I want to run a front amp, do I keep the 600.2 or the 500.4 bridged into 2ch. The 900.7 will run the center, sides, rear. Ooor maybe might be kind enough so sell my their 1000.2??

this has given me an idea......

I have never worked with this type of vinyl ...but here is what I have in mind

outlaw and bandit mounted like yours

with a lid thats folds up to display the amps (when not in use amps are covered)

vinyl over lay of PG logo maybe a few of the logo's going across

I will have a mx3i and eq215ix in the install also..

Thred jacker! lol, thats awesome, make the cover roll up like a bread box! The vinyl is a lot like working with carpet applying it, but it is a lot trickier. Vinyl shows every imperection underneath it, carpet hides everything!
