I agree, his decisions are definitely being attacked. Then again, he is on a Phoenix Gold forum showing pictures of a beautiful install (thank you for those by the way), then ripping apart almost everything PG save for a line driver and equalizer and installing low end JL and Kicker. Of course, comments like
i never have thought of pg as a top of the line brand, didnt think anyone did.
and
I've had that A series for 3 year's and i've had no problems out of it. I had that Frank for a week and it fucking burned up.

I think I will set the stuff on fire when I take it out rather than sell it to you guys. KTHNX
makes me question why he is even on a PG forum other than unloading the FAS, cables, etc... to some PG enthusiats, but everyone's got their own opinion I guess. The comments about His decisions are exactly that, his decisions, and it looks like most of us agree that it wouldn't be our decisions so let's leave it at that. As for scottx, don't be surprised when people act hostile towards you when you make these kinds of comments on a Phoenix Gold forum.

Your an installer and that is yer system? Dynamat can't fix that......... Showing videos like that may show one person you have alot of bass but I think most of the people on here understand just like I do that panels can rattle free even at low vibrations. As an installer myself I do not look at the video and see allot of bass, I see a poorly planned install that didn't take the time to account for vibrations. I would have used some kind of fastener(not velcro) to hold it down before it would have been an issue.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

At the start of this thread, several suggestions to keep the PG stuff were made. But hey, it's your car and your install. All good.

Somebody lock this thread please? It's sucking more crack than Harlem in the 80s!! He obviously flipped it and wants nothing to do with the forum. All the posts are edited to nothing now.

Scott, you told me a lot of stuff on AIM that defended your point a lot better than your responses in this thread. We were all harsh on you as well, and for that I apologize. I don't want to make a habit of flaming newbies here on the forum.

I am going to miss the pictures of the original install. Wish you hadn't taken those down because it was probably one of my top 5 to date.

Good luck with your car, install, and PG sale.

I hate it when people are douches and remove cool pics, so when I found a link to a different forum in his ebay ad, I downloaded all the pics and re uploaded them to my picasa account, so now he can't edit them out :) So now everyone can enjoy the PG goodness that once was in his car.

Can't fix stupid, but you can at least re-host his pics! Enjoy gentlemen!

I liked it just the same Tom!
too bad it all fell apart like it did!
great car and fitting SQ gear to follow suit

didnt, and still dont, understand what he was on about with respect to putting in JL gear as an "upgrade" from SOFAS... makes me sick!

This was incredibly interesting to read from page 1 and on to the aggressive exchanges and too many :idiot: 's to count. On one hand, I'm glad such prestigious gear is no longer in the hands of someone who didn't appreciate it. But COCKSUCKER! , that Merc had such class
Thanks for finding the GOOD pictures, I missed out on these the first time the rolled through.
