Hi there, welcome to the Phorum. FYI we speak english here, so please do your best. We have lots of members from other countries, so it helps them understand as well.zpeedyrosalez wrote:oh shyt yeah im the man n oobs 6 12's in a tcab box.. ftmw oh and its str8t for sq... no spl since i had too much trouble with impounded cars tickets courts etc... 2 subs are on the sides

You might actually get more volume and better sound by removing the two subs on the side. Since they are run in an opposite direction as your other four (not to mention the port), this causes cancellations when the bass waves intersect at different points.
What impedance are your woofers?

hahah yeah myghetto english really sucks.. but oh well...
so u all think i need to remove the subs on the sides??? if i do it... my wiring configurations its goona be bad for the subs the amp its 1 ohm stable and the subs are dual 4o hm each...
wat if u juzz reverse the polarity of the two subs on the sides????

I really doubt it.zpeedyrosalez wrote:so inverting the polarity of my 2 subs on the sides will improve my bass????????? or will be the same?
First of all the speakers are playing in the same airspace, so the drivers will be playing "against" eachother. The two drivers on top will create more pressure than the one on the side, so you will likely wear out the speakers on the side quicker. Then again, it could create some sort of push-pull configuration which may or may not work.
Even then, inverting the phase may make it better, or it may make it worse, depending on how your bass signals line up. To make matters more complicated, this will vary depending on frequency, so the only real solution is to mount them on the same plane.
I guess it can't hurt to try though...
