mounting looks good and clean but you realized the idea of the TLD's, is to mount them as close as possible to the music source to minimize noise that can be picked up, and now amplified by your TLD's and then the amp right? Putting them in back could be a significant introduction of noise into the stereo because any noise will be subj to the same gain the music is. If they were not up front, I would not run them personally. Mine are normally connected to the deck via a 12" cable(or less and mounted under the HU.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

x2. It won't add a significant amount more noise (only the distortion caused by adding items to the signal chain), but you are defeating their purpose by having them in the rear of the car. In the front of the car they increase the signal strength so that noise inducted over the length of the RCA is less noticeable, but in the rear of the car it will amplify the noise just as much as it amplifies the signal, therefore defeating the point.

I was in the front part of the car really no place it is difficult to obstruct the HU ...
We have tried it and it detected no disturbing noises.

Breakin out the dowels, and I thought I was the only one... Looks good again, my only concern is the space under the amps looks a little light for cooling purposes, they get perty warm.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

I've tested, and the amplifiers are cooled by two fans.
The temperature remains at 48 °C :naughty: :naughty:

an amazing install and my favorite part is the use of all the "classic" components. keep up the great work. wish i was close enough to hear and see the finished product.

Hello people
I come now to the last part of the installation.
is the headunit to turn on his amp connection of the Cyclone and the fine tuning with my dealer.
There is competition at the weekend, held in Vienna EMMA I will visit with my car, I hope to have a good feedback about installation and SQ.
It must still be some improvements made to put the tweeter as the Ti1 in the A-pillar and a bevel of the left midrange.
But first, the next pictures.
regards Geri
