Fiat Punto PG Install - Brazil

Post by Marcotah »

Hi man, how you doin'?
Its saunding great, but I still have some to do, like my battery that has died today, the MT-22 will give place to the Ti1 Elite that Ive bought from joerg, and Im planning to get back playing TiElites active (imho sounded better).
The custom doorpods has about 7 liters each, and the Ti6Mids are far better when are used with boxes instead of free air doors (Ive used this way about two years). Now each side is receiving about 240wrms and are playing fullfreq (no hi-pass on mids) with a little bit of boost at 45Hz. For now, you almost cant notice the rolloff betweent the front stage and the subwoofer, so I won in quality but lost SPL.
"Punto" is an spanish word, and means like "Point" in english, but the car is Italian and I sincerelly dunno if this is what the menufacturer means...

I asked because waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when I thought someone taught me that it meant "whore/prostitute" in spanish/mexican. Not sure who said that now but it just popped into my head when I read it.

Those are big door pods. I am putting the 9s in my doors and not sure how much space I will be able to get them but it should be ok.

Hahaha, thats true, Puto. Actually, puto has the same meaning in brazilian portuguese, but also can mean like "mad" or "angry".
Yeah, in original project, I planned to do a 5,5L doorpods, but it ended up being much bigger, so I filled them with that thing that looks like cotton... I cant translate to english now...
