My two XS amps reside in the upper region above the spare tire well. I have 4 fans keeping them cool (push/pull) when system is on.

I dremeled out a layer of the plywood so my grill would be flush with the wood and glued/ stapled it down. I then adhered a piece of window screen to the under side to hide the woofer a 'lil more.

Here's the plywood I cut to mimic the stock floor. It's resting on short 2x4 lengths.

 yeah it does that. I can switch it around but then all the old posts and FAQs would get messed up...

For your first install that is pretty damn good I'd say! Maybe paint the plywood black so it doesn't stand out, and add a small cover so you can't see the gap at the bottom of the trunk. Also dust and crud will get on the sub, so you might want to get some speaker cloth material, but install it under the grill so it doesn't get torn up.

Good idea about the speaker cloth... I wanna put a 2x4 in the gap and install a lock into the hinged board eventually. Thanks for the props, appreciate it. :D
