Tried that pink insulation out way too thick to soak up the resin. Maybe if I had a tub to submerge it but I'll stick with the white stuff. Glad the insulation experiment only ran an extra $5. Popped out my mold & looked it over, it's around a 1/4" right now. Adding slats to the rim along with more layers...

Got the weekend off so I was able to get some more work done on the enclosure. My brother-in-law works at a mill & brought me 4 huge pieces of 3/4 MDF last night!! :D Very stoked on that gift...

All edges have been filled inside & out. I'll be putting my top MDF later on today with the box extension (you'll see) then painting it. Then on to phase 2! More pics to follow my phriends!

Ok, have the day to spend on install, want to get more cuts done as well as PWR wire & 2nd battery. I don't need any inline fuses from main to 2nd batt right? Also, when using powercore, do I fuse between core & amps? Thanks guys!

ALWAYS FUSE THE POWER WIRE 12" FROM THE BATTERY. If you have two, you should have two fuses. I know alot of people say not too or that they do not but once you see a power wire weld itself to a car, and then catch everything from there to the battery on fire, you will stop thinking about saving yourself $10 today to spend thousands later repairing.

Well I got the sub box put together, still needs wire terminals, some sanding, fasteners for sub, top mounted, etc. Also got some of the panels cut for the sides. Didn't get my 0/1 in yet but, oh well. I'll be painting the box as well  .

Thanks! I'll call it the Titanium Mohawk...or something  . I started priming the enclosure tonight, I'll be spraying sound deadner inside & painting the outside hopefully tomorrow. If my boy takes a long nap maybe I'll get to the power wire & battery too! Just got my three 1 meter PG RCAs in the mail so I can figure out a good spot up front to install the TLD66 as well.

have you measured your volume yet? I can't help but think lookin at that box that you could have 3-4 cu ft of air in that box and while the Ti's like space that is a BIG_ASS box that a cyclone would be happy in.

You can measure it afterwards with packing peanuts for example to get an idea of how big it really is. You might need to take some of that space up to make the sub happy.

I'll do the packing peanut measure although it's not as big as you may think. The spare space is only for a doughnut + tray on top with the half box on top that pretty much has enough room to house the Elite...

Half day at work today allowed me to get a little more done. I primed & painted most of the main boards & subwoofer housing. I also was able to pull out my 2 gauge & put the 0/1 in it's place. I'll tin the ends & get it fused up when I get a little further in the install. Of course it started to rain heavily while I had my seat out putting in the power wire, good thing we have a portable canopy!

Well I got up at 5 this morning to work on the Subie. Got quite a bit done as I was able to chip away at it throughout the day. I am currently mounting the Powercore & DD10. It looks like I'll be using my 500.4Ti as the MS1000 will need some planning to orchestrate the tight fit for the wiring.

Not to worry as I found the cure to that! Spare tire mounted to roof absorbs all flex! And it looks fashionably awesome as well!

Well I've been testing the Elite & am starting to thing you may be right about the air space. I'm gonna try it with my CUBE hoping that will remedy my situation but if not, how would I add more fill easier? Add wood blocks to the underside of the top?
