2001 BMW Touring Install

Post by joerg »

Decided to go a new route with the BMW this time. Since i need to move stuff around from time to time i will do am install that can be removed from the trunk in one piece if needed.

The first thing i did today was taking care of all the surface rust the car gathered during the winter season. Cleaned it inside and outside.

I´ll stay with Focal when it comes to speakers. Been way too happy with them over the years and don´t want to try something new. The rest will an all out Phoenix Gold Install.

I´ve got all the parts i need besides a nice elite.5 which i will purchase once i get an opportunity.
Since the OEM Radio will stay in the car i also need a SLD44 Linedriver to combine it with the rest of the system.

Some pictures before i will start to work on the install:

That's a great car, I can't wait to see your install. You say you have vocals, I assume Utopia? What else are you using other than the sld44 and elite.5?
A few of these and a few of those.
