2nd New OS build

So finally i am able to post the "new" truck i got after doing some maintenance items i got done today. Its not a huge brand new truck, but it perfectly suites what i need.

I got it for $2000 last weekend.

2001 Dodge Dakota Sport
Extended Cab
5.2ltr 318cu in V8
5sp manual
4x4
Tow Package
135,780 miles on her
Bed liner

Positives-everything above, no frame rust, body in great shape, mechanically in excellent shape, interior is immaculate

Negatives-needed rear pinion seal, needed good tires, needs rear brakes soon, oil change needed, CEL was on, needs new heat/ac controls (stuck in defrost and new set already ordered)

Bonus items-got diamond plated toolbox thrown in and pioneer premier deh-p880prs and premier components in front and 1way premier in rear.

So guys i need some help with how im gonna do about subs behind the seats. I have a few options.

I wanna keep the rear usable. I dont care if i keep the rear bench or not. But i wanna be able to use the rear for whatever usable space.

Either do 2 12's (have RF rfp 1212's or MTX black & golds) and make a custom down firing bench. Id prefer down firing so nothing happens to the subs and id like the sound waves to reflect off the floor or the rear wall.

Or i can buy an after box for under the seat whicj would allow for 2 tens, but they would have to shallows or mild size motors. Id prefer not to go this route as i like really clean loud and tight bass.

Or create a custom box for under the rear seat for 3 or 4 8's prefer using JL 8W6v1's or Kicker solobarics (either the old round series or the first gen squares)

So guys could you let me know what you all have done in ext cab not quad cab trucks that allowed it to be still usable or what you have experienced in truck installs, or what u just think about my options or a diff opinion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My tundra has an airtrend prefab dual 12" box with 2 jltw3 12" subs and does pretty good. Not as good as my 4 runner with a single square solo l7 12" in a big ported box with 1500 watts to it. That thing was a beast. I literally could rattle the siding on buildings. Not that much room in the truck. The jl's have a good sound to them though. I had 4 diamond 8's in my old Dakota. Clean and tight but when I really got on them they just didn't have the excursion to keep up and bottomed out.

Would you happen to have a photo of the box you had built for the dakota? I am really trying to get some ideas for a setup.

the last time I heard a shallow sub I was pretty impressed myself. I can't say it was as loud as a regular 10 but I was satisfied.

Sorry. My Dakota had the older style interior. Had the tubs under the seat.
