2013 VW CC Install

i recently purchased a 2013 vw cc r-line and i was very unhappy with the stereo. i started working on the stereo install in my free time and now it's almost complete.

current list of components:

kenwood ddx-9902s headunit
idatalink maestro rr
jl audio 900/5 amp
jl audio ho112-w6v3
image dynamics ctx65cs (x2)
Siriusxm tuner
CCD backup camera
enfig dash kit, am/fm and siriusxm antenna adapter
knukonceptz battery terminals and ring terminals
pg power wire
monster cable RCA's
lots of tech-flex and heat shrink tubing

my car

all wiring was covered in tech flex and heatshrink

jl audio 900/5 was installed under the drivers seat. wiring was cleaned up before i reinstalled the seat

Nice work bro :clap: ...still can't believe that OEM stereo's are still crap compared to aftermarket ...nothing like quality music being an after-thought ... :doh:

below are some pictures of maestro rr integration. it allows for retention of steering wheel controls, multi function display, MDI, climate control, parking assist, and display of OBD2 info.

Damn you have exactly my old car, a white '13 cc r-line. Great car, I swapped my steering wheel with a flat bottom GLI wheel. I also upgraded the stereo (look in here for my pics) because yeah, the factory stereo really sucks. I never got my aftermarket system to sound right before I bailed on the car.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. That integration thing looks sweet. I would have done that if it was available or if I knew about it.
