sup fam! its been a long time and i have been so busy but i wanted to post pictures of the car that i started long ago. for those that remember i had a ground kit molded and after many attempts to
paint it due to the crappy urathane material i finally chucked the kit. dont and i say dont buy ebay kits and sand them. just paint your primer and paint it with all its imperfections. those crappy kits seem to not hold any primer. we tried everything from adhesion promoter to coating it with super adhesives to get it to stick. all fail. at the end i waited for a company in japan to release a kit and i purchased it. 4 months ago i recieved it and then i started finishing everything i started. the moral was so low these last couple of years due to the failure of getting anywhere forward with car.

here is some pictures of it as it is now. full modded front for even lower stance then before. also relipped both my wheels to wider specs and completely cambered the hell out of it. the fronts will get
t demand UCA and Shortend Knuckles soon and then i can space them and install my BBK.

i ended up installing morel supremo tweeters with elate midrange. center will be morel 4 inch and rear fill will be also morel. amps are elite 4 and elite 5 running two titanium 12s in a 2.0 sealed box.

aloha

do you think the cheap body kit was just dirty and had something the primer/paint would not stick too? I just sprayed my first car an got something in a cup of primer but thankfully caught it and stopped before I did more then one part.

no, it was a cheap lip kit. problem was that we sanded it. had we just painted over it we would have been fine. since we molded it to stock bumpers the "coating" they put on was sanded off and
the solvents were being released. it took two years of messing with it just for it to stay on longer then two weeks.

at first we didnt know what was causing it other then it was releasing something. after sealing it and then prepping with all the tricks in the book it still would flake off. only the places that were not sanded stuck.

thats when i finally threw in the towel and decided to save some money to get a good kit.

when blackpearlcomplete released there kit i was the first person to buy it in US.

still think i am only person in US with this kit.

i am just glad that the 3 year night mare is done. the pg elite mids that i was gonna use ended up in my daughters car so i didnt remove them since she likes them. i ended up just buying morel supremos and kept the amps and bought two titanium 12s

overall its really nice sounding.
what i wanted for this car.

That car looks downright MEAN!! I love the low stance. Great looking system in the back too! I wish I had install skills like that.

I think that is the new trend I have seen lots of cars that way now days looks like it allows a wider rim and still kinda tucks into the wheel well I could be wrong. Sure looks rough on tires tho.

I am sure he is kidding. That is what you have to do to tuck big wheels on a lowered car. I can't say I am a fan but can appreciate the originality of it and the work that went into it.
