HT set up Ideas

Post by GX3 »

Ok guys the time is upon me. I have 200 (x2 100A) amps of power supplies. I have a ton of stuff to use but never put a real HT together. let alone with 12V. Lets start with the equipment I have at my disposal. 3 ZX950s, MS1000TA, 3 2250TA , 2125TA, 2125, MPS 2240, 6 ( think maybe 7) MS275s. I am leaning towards using the 950s . It will give me 8 channels and 2 mono channels for the sub(s) to use. Or do I just use my MX1260 (PG 12 channel home audio amp) and make it easy on myself. The MX1260 is 60x12ch that is bridgeable. I need to figure this out soon as i am putting the walls up in the basement with week. I would like to build the amps in to the wall now so I dont have to re frame things later. Should my Sub go in the back of the room or does it matter? I am planing on using 8 8" XTR (overkill I know). It will be built into the wall as well. I have a Polk set up for speakers.

Looking for ideas and opinions

did you look at the home theaters... the shack has a shitload of ideas, and there are some absolutely stunning executions out there. Just spent 5 mins with google trying to find them and can't.

I wrote too soon:
