I read some bad reviews a while back about Paramax. I was doing research for my Home system. I think it was either on Sound & Vision site or Home theater Mag....If it's a great deal it may be worth it but not MSRP 4199....There are a lot better "affordable" systems out there.

Dude is asking $450 CAD for the lot.

That's what raised my ire - listing at $4K.
I'll go over and have a peek.

In my case, some dude driving by in an SUV asked if I wanted some speakers in the Harbor Freight parking lot. Luckily I have heard of these scams and knew better (I could see the cheap looking speakers in the back).

Search google for thousands of stories...genesis media labs, paradyme (no relation to the high end paradigm brand)...just look at the brand list on that wikipedia page.

Sad thing is these speakers are even sold on eBay.
