PG? Audio Source Amp 100

Post by ajaye »

Anyone know anything about these?

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdet ... er=302-601

I've seen some that under the logo it has the PG logo and "A Phoenix Gold International Company" or something to that effect in smaller lettering. The pics on Parts Express do not reflect this so maybe it was older models?

One of my sets of home tower speakers I'm planning on converting to run bi amped with an active crossover, and I have a line on a few for a pretty reasonable price. Using 1 for both my L and R high pass and 2 more, both bridged for my L and R bandpass would work out pretty perfectly. Just curious to hear if anyone knows anything on these, good or bad.

I used one for years for some surround speakers. Great little amp, never did give me any problems. Pretty sure it is packed up safe in my closet and not being used if you are in the market for one. I think the only problem with it was the lights for the power meters burned out but hat is not a big deal or a hard fix.

I didn't notice that they changed the design since I got it and just hide one area of the search area. Mine had two round analog power meters in it that would dance to the music. Great amp.

I am currently using an AMP 100 to power a set of desktop speakers I built for listening to tunes at work. Great little amp for the price.

I have three AS amps and they have been great. I would spring for the new line though (Amp-102 if I am not mistaken). Those are reportedly Triple Darlington, supposedly very close to the RSD series output internally.

This puppy:

Only $20 more ;)

Edit: NM its the 110 that has triple darlington. Those are way more $$

The old amp 200/300 have it as well:
