Ipod Backup Software

Anybody have any suggestions for software that will let me upload content from an ipod to itunes? Everything I've found claims to be free but won't let me accomplish this without paying for the upgrade. I know it's not a lot of money, but I thought I'd ask before purchasing something.

So I downloaded bittorrent and then the torrent that you linked me to Tom, but tbh I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it. What program do I need to open a RAR file? I suck at computers!
