hey guys, just installed the new ASUS Xonar D2X 7.1 sound card into my HTPC with the latest drivers for vista .Tried it with transformers in bluray with PowerDVD8 decoding TrueHD 5.1, analog out to my receiver ...and it rocks... gosh the surround sound steering is crystal clear and the bass sounds so freakin solid and defined ...
check it out guys ....

was 200 dollars here in oz ... but i saw see many floating in us ebay stores for much better deals man !

There's another model released which is just a level on top of this and happens to be the flagship, ASUS HDAV 1.3 , but when i was checkin these things out , that model had quite a number of driver issues ( still does i believe ) and was also quite expensive. So just settled for this one and lovin it !
