Guys who know about FETs - RC car question

Post by Bfowler »

so Errin and i have been charged with a mission. a mission from god. we must beat my coworkers in a battle of xmods. They both have basicly maxed out thier cars with radio shacks storebought mods.....but we have to be different.

errin had the idea of swapping out the FETs so we could run more powa (maybe some lithium 6v camera batteries....)

heres a link to what we are considering doing...

edit - also, just to be clear....we dont plan on buying that kit....just using that idea

why not just bypass all that and buy a power controller for a real rc car and cram as many cells and as big a motor posible and be done !
