BMW got me a Acura TL

Post by kg1961 »

funny all the problems I had, they got a customer hat was going to buy a used bmw to take mine and I am getting his Acura TL
they went as far as got me $1900 to take his. I pick the car up on thursday next week when all the paper work is done. Im free of bmw shit...
The car has one rub/dent that I will need to remove but out of the 1900cnd 250 of it was to detail the car.Funny I hate the way others detail my car so more money for me...
Does any one know of nice 18 or 19" rim for a 2008 Acura TL???
most of my gear is gone :liar:

If you can find 'em, they make some nice stock rims for the TL-S, or the newer TL> not sure what year you have, but I know the rims on the last 2-3 model years have been pretty nice...

Personally I've seen a few with after markets, and I like simple. I like the newest stock rims, their sharp looking 5 or 6 spokes, some have a darker tint, and I saw one while I was out of town on a pearlish colored TL with matte black 6 spokes that looked really good. I like 'em "murdered" out.
Is this where Im supposed to write something catchy??

there are alot of 18" like in the first list
I don't need and never have needed 3 peice wheels

at teh time the dollar was at par

I wouldn't put any of those heavy chrome wheels on a TL... Personally I would go for a dark/gunmetal/gold full-faced lightweight rim. Rota Torques if you're on a budget, or something like OZ Ultraleggeras if you can afford them.

If you're going for more of a chrome look, some deep dish BBS-style wheels (like the ones on your 328) with a subtle lowering kit would probably look the best.

I think the same as you tom
I have to get the car first than think long and hard
I like the v715 I had on the bmw
but that type of rim might not look great on a TL

I don't like them on a stock car, but with a drop it could look nice...

Here's a similar one:

check out:
kxwheels.com
it's in Vancouver i got mine there. they have real good service and you can get a complete package for less than 2000.00 CAD. they also have one of those things where you pick your car and color it, lower it, etc and throw on different rims to look at. kinda kool.....it's how i arrived at my choice.
screw car audio, I'd rather go fast....errr, wait a minute.
