I would not require shipping either -- we could go to the shipping company, and I could take it from there. sounds like a scam to me . My father tried to by a motor bike same sorta deal. they gave the vin etc
the problem was she couldn't make it smae thing a shipping company
It turned out to be a scam so be very careful.
I just went through all that bs form BMW and I know what I paid and what I can sell the car but I went to calgary honda and they would cut me a cheque for my car for 38 500 if I wanted.I don't see why she would not or use a company to sell it. No time to show it make it hard to sell.
If the car is in Edmonton I can drive you and you can drive it back if its a real deal

I'm with them...be careful...don't send money....EBAY might be safe for her...but if you ppal and not receive the car...they close the bank acct attached, they might go delinquent....and you have a pending transfer back to you...but you'd never see a dime.

I'm quite sure it's a scam, but there's nothing they can do with my address and phone number anyways, so there's little harm in trying. I certainly wouldn't pay cash for a deal like this, unless I actually saw the car first, and had all paperwork signed and approved. Even then, "she" still hasn't given me a phone number to talk to them in person, which is usually the first thing that happens when you buy a car.

Still, who would pull a scam with a Saab? I mean I see this stuff on Kijiji and Craigslist every day, but it's always hot cars like M3's that people actually want. Usually Canadatrader is far more legitimate however...

It's totally unfair to me that this is the EXACT specification 9-5 Aero I have always dreamed of owning. The '05 wagon, with a stick, in black, with the right wheels and everything. So well see if they reply...

But yeah you guys are totally right... even if a dealer lowballed the shit out of her, she'd still get way more than $4400 out of it.

I would be contacting the local police, the local newspaper, their local police, hell everybody I could and let them know about this. Also, IIRC the FBI here in the states has an internet fraud division that you could contact and try to get these guys busted. I FUCKING HATE SCAMMERS!!
