No, it's the TII style. The block is from an 87 TII, it came forged stock. An 87 only option. The Lotus motor was in the last year of the Daytona 93. The "real" Shelbys were in 87-88, all following years were Chrysler/Dodge making the C/S package.

Sweet Daytona man...

Looks like we've got another Vancouverite! :D

But why "the asshole of north america"? I just moved here from Calgary and I think that place is way more deserving.

Well I was living in Vancouver, but things didn't quite work out, so I'm back in my home town, Winnipeg now. "The asshole of north america" describes Winnipeg not only geographicaly, but also literaly! This place is a shit hole! Man I miss the westcoast!

No install yet, I've been collecting the equipment for the past year...
I will begin to install soon, I just need to pickup my last shippment from the U.S. (since a lot of Americans won't ship to Canada for some reason). The items in my signature is what is going into my car minus the ZX amps probably.

I just got a chubb :fap: I had an 85 Turbo Z in the mid 90's,had LETHA interior and it even had the computer that would tell you if your door was open etc. That was the funest car to drive and the acoustics in it where the best to date, out of all the cars Ive owned.

Definately go with kick pods, the depth of the stageingwas very wide and the depth sounded like it was coming from the middle of the hood :hurr: The imageing was spot on aswell. The panels are a bitch to get all the buzzes and rattles out, but once you deaden those....... :metal: youll be amazed at the quality of sound you get with this car........and remember you get the 3-6db gain if you fire the subs up into the hatch glass 8)

I miss hatchbacks in general and wish they would do more of them but specifically another mustang in one. The space they free up for systems and the cabin gain you get from them is just an installers dream.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

My first car was an '87 Shelby Z! Silver on charcoal cloth...the only Shelby Z I ever saw with a factory sunroof, too. Fun little car, especially after we tweaked the turbo wastegate a little bit. :shifty: I don't remember the slots in the front end like yours, though...

I swapped the leds on my DD5 and like it alot better too. I also swapped out my dash lighting for cool white leds, which made them blue because of the film ford uses.

In fact...the whole ground effects, front and rear bumper were different. Mine looked just like this, only silver:

Yours looks like it has the ground effects from an '88 or '89 Shelby. Either way, thanks for the trip down memory lane. I hadn't read anything, or seen one, for years!
