Eh, the same outcome would have happend. I just would have pulled 5 or 6 cars on the newer model, rather than 10 or 12 on the old one.. No big accomplishment, but its the only race I have on my camera. More to come I hope.

Huge car show last night, and I was able to atleast get 1 race filmed.. my vic vs 5.0 mustang

Pulled about 3-4 cars on him every race. I did let off the gas at the end.

Update: I am in the process of gathering parts right now, but Im planning on having the motor rebuilt. Heads, cams, ect.. Im hoping for 300+ to the wheels n/a, and 450 with nitrous.

You need a camera man. Racing with one hand and filming with the other is a bad idea.

Well guys I have opted to go with the motor swap. Im going with the 5.4 :) motor found in expeditions, and navigators.

What I started with- Power: SAE and 175 kW , 235 HP @ 4,750 rpm; 276 ft lb , 374 Nm @ 4,000 rpm

What I will start with with the swap- 5.4-liter V8 engine 300 horsepower and 360 lb.-ft. of torque. Nearly 100 more lbs or torque..

Way more displacement..
4.6 = 281ci
5.4 = 331ci

Best thing is, its a direct drop in from the 4.6, and I can use the same boltons I have. All I really need is the intake adapter.. Best part is, its not expensive 8)

Is the wiring harness an easy swap as well?

I put my 10.5 inch rears on yesturday. I got the following tires: Vredestein Sessanta 255/35/19 fronts 295/30/19 rears

yay traction.

Side note. 30 lb racoon will send you off the road. Regardless of how you try to avoid the little bastard.
