Yep... if it was filled in with honeycomb, the debadged look would be nice, but there's no point if you have the oval with no logo.

Not focused on rims right now, as all they will do is slow me down. Im doing engine/ performance work right now. Rims are an after thought, but when I do get rims, they will be black..

haha, i would freak out if that rolled into my drive way. i bet everyone gets out of your way on the highway!

you should ad some plastic "reflectors" or whatever to the upper areas of your winshield and back window so they look like "hidden" lights

Btw, does anyone know of a toggle switch or something I could use to turn them on and off, instead of having to plug them in to turn them on? Is their any adapter of some sort to flip a switch for them to work?

just about any toggle should work since that light bar only draws 1.2 amps of current. Just cut your cigarette lighter plug off and hard wire it to the toggle then to power and ground it out and you will be good.

I think the black rims would really look nice and stand out well on my car.

The rim design is similar to the marauder wheels, only better imo.

UGH :x

Sorry, but I just hate that black-on-chrome one-piece trend. It's soooooo ugly. Two piece with black center and polished lip is forgivable, but painted black and chrome just looks cheap IMO. Plus, I think those rims would look way too busy next to the sleek white body. Go simpler with all-chrome or all-black maybe. Anything too gaudy would turn your classy cop-sleeper into your average cheesy ride.

Don't forget you're also trying to make a fast car. Nothing makes you slower than cheap heavy 20" rims. Now would be a good time to LOWER your unsprung weight, so that you can accelerate quicker. Make sure you keep the overall tire diameter the same so you don't negatively affect acceleration!

I personally dont think black rims look good at all unless they have some crome accent with them. As for crome, white cars dont look good with crome wheels imo. Yes the 20s would slow me down off the line, but it probably would offer better handling, and would be a bit lighter than the stock steel wheels. It would probably be pointless going with 16s, which is the same size as stock. Just because it wont really stand out. I dont think these rims will make it look to flashy. 20s are rediculously huge, many cars come stock with 20s these days.. Im still not sure which route im going to go, but I think this car needs rims. I'm going to keep looking around.. Options still open.

:snooty: ok....but that's also like saying...jd power also tested the loyalty of women. contestant "A" won

i guess what i'm saying is...my personal take on it is that ford uses not-cutting edge proven reliable ideas to produce uninspiring cars.

so even if i DID trust JD powers unbiased option*....i still have no use for a ford.

*I do not buy into those awards because i genuinely believe that people as a whole are stooopid and no not maintain high end cars properly. the car that doesn't have enough stuff to go wrong will obviously be the most reliable

and end note: i know you like fords, and everyone can make their own decisions based on the facts they find....i'm not going for the "fords are crap card" im just throwing out that ford doesn't meet my consumer needs and giving you a glimpse into my reasoning of why
