A friend of mine had a tan 82 Impala about 15 yrs ago. His dad was in a band and he took some of the colored film that they put in the lens of the stage lights and put a red in one side and a blue in the other side on the brights.

One night he was in a hurry and started flashing his brights on and off and the cars in front of us pulled over.

I'm so glad there wasn't a cop around. SOOOO funny though.

Im trying to keep the weight down as far as wheels go. Im going to put some 20s on it, but they will be lighter than the factory wheels.

yes, the windshield is tinted 8) It is hard to see at night, but I like the tint. Keeps the car cool, sun, and makes it look better imo. Also keeps audio gear hidden, ect..

It might not be directly visible, but it's gotta be a hell of a lot more conspicuous.

People with overly tinted cars are targets, because they are either drug dealers or have some nice gear in the car... or both.

Looks like a cop car though.. I cant count how many times I have been going over the speed limit on the highway, and passed parked cops that were detecting speeds, and they didnt even move out of their spot. It has happend atleast 5 times. This car has its advantages.. Btw, I always take my face plate out of my car, more so now then ever that their has been 3 breakins at my work in the parking long, in the middle of the day.

Found a nice site that sells tons of parts for the vic. What does everyone think of doing away with the crome plated grill, and going with this one instead?

It would give it a meaner look..

Unless you actually cut away the backing for the script (logo), it would just look like you were missing it, because well that's all it is.
