Picked this one up for weekends.....

Post by HoseHead »

'06 300C SRT8 - 65Kms (40K miles) - one mature owner - Unlocked 08 MyGig OEM Boston Audio - Front and rear cams - Mopar CAI - Mopar/Corsa SS exhaust - 3:06 Getrag rear end - 2800 stall torque converter - Diablo Trinity tuner - Line Lock - Zex Nitrous management - shift paddles - 8K lighting - body side moulding removed and fender badges added - Kenny grill. Car is outstanding - Original owner ran a sub 12 second 1/4 mile on slicks w/ laughing gas valve open. Figure it pulls 500+ HP w/o nitrous. Insane power. Drives like a luxo sled until you put your foot in it. Pulls hard from 2500 RPM up to redline. Jekyl and Hyde.

Thanks guys. I was lucky to find it. Garaged it's whole life and it shows. Paint is flawless.

It's wild. I haven't even opened the bottle. As it is, it's too much for my current skill level.
I am booked to take a weekend of performance lessons at our area track so I can use what this car is offering ....

I love it! I've just started looking at these, haven't driven or even set in one yet. What are your thoughts on the interior build quality? I'm looking at the SRT Magnum as well.

Nice score. Just stay safe in it and try to lay off the street racing, keep to the track. I had a weekend racer at one point and it was fun but very tempting every time a high school kid in a v6 mustang wanted to race. Just remember, with power comes responsibility...

But enjoy the car, it's one hell of a beast.
A few of these and a few of those.

It's beautiful, and they are fast in a straight line. However it's not going to be a good track car, it's just far too heavy. Trying to track it is going to absolutely punish your rubber as well. Y-rated tires are too expensive for that imo.

Hella, sleeper though. If those are Mopar, or Hemi badges the previous owner added I'd remove them.

It will be funny as hell to see the looks on the faces of Camaro and Mustang fan-boys when they get owned by a 4 door saloon car.

Very nice car. Just check out that nitrous nozzle before you spray it. It looks like it has turned and is facing down instead of towards the throttle body. It is common if it doesnt have a bung welded in for the nozzle to thread into. It can easily turn if just tapped into the thin tube.

Added some 2015 Hellcat Slingshot rims with 235/35/20 out back and 275/40/20 for steering - Toyo Proxes ST II
Bone stock suspension except for the 3:06 Getrag Posi.
I like it. Just a few more weeks before she goes away for winter ...
